See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections. See all condition definitions- opens in a new window or tab... Read moreabout the condition  Antique black forest wooden plate, chiming wallclock.  The clock chimes the number ofthe hour on the hour and once on the half hour on a bell.   Hands areheavy, solid cast brass.  Clock was probably made around 1880.  Thiscould be used in a grandfather clock case. Outer dial is wood with a brass inner trim ring.

The clock runs and chimes correctly.   Movement was cleaned, lubricated, and testedin October 2011.

Clock dimensions are 14” in diameter (9” time track)(37 1/2" long with pendulum) x 6”.   Clock includes two castiron weights.

There are no side doors.  The pendulum, bell, andface have been replaced.  The clock has aone day movement. 

Clock is packed in a box that measures 11” x 17” x 18”and weighs 15 pounds.  Clock will bemailed USmail parcel post.

I cannot get this clock to you by Christmas as I have no express shipping available.  No shipments outside the USor Canada,so please don’t ask.  All sales final, no returns.

See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections. See all condition definitions- opens in a new window or tab... Read moreabout the condition  Antique Furderer Jaegler and Co. black forest wooden plate, chiming wallclock.  Furderer Jaegler was based in Neustadt, Germany in the heart of the black forest.  They went out of business in 1892.  The clock chimes thenumber of the hour on the hour and once on the half hour on a bell.   Hands are heavy, solid cast brass.  Original glass face is cracked.  Clock was probably made around 1880.  This could be used in a grandfather clock case.

The clock runs and chimes correctly.   Movement was disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, reassembled and tested in October 2011.  Back of movement is marked Furderer Jaegler.  Old glass has bubbles, waves, and is hand painted on the reverse side of the face.

Clock dimensions are 12 1/2” in diameter (39" withpendulum) x 6”.   Clock includes two cast iron weights.

There are no side doors.  The pendulum has been replaced.  The clock has a one daymovement. 

Clock is packed in a box that measures 11” x 17” x 18”and weighs 19 pounds.  Clock will bemailed USmail parcel post.
