This antique Seth Thomas Ship's Clock measures 5-1/4 inches in diameter and 5-1/2 in the back. It is made of solid brass and the front glass unscrews for rewinding. The minute hand and the key are both missing. The face is in fair to good condition. The back of the clock reads, "Seth Thomas, Div. of General Time Corp., Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A." The clock's movement reads, "PAT1, U.S.A 2974, Foreign Patents Pending, Made in Germany for Seth Thomas Clocks, Thomaston, Conn., USA, 7 Jewels, A207-000, 7803." The number 31 is stamped into one of the gear boxes. It is a beautiful clock, excellent for someone who needs a project.
