NICE WATERBURY 8 DAY DEERFIELD BLACK PIANO FINISH MANTEL CLOCK WITH ADAMANTINE COLUMNS ~ MOVEMENT NEED REHAB!

Very nice antique Waterbury black enamel piano finish mantel clock...Deerfield model with brass accented adamantine columns. Cosmetically, very nice with an incised design at the base. Side handles are in place, however one has lost the lower half as you can see in Photo 12. Still and all, a very nice example in a design and style we do not too often see. Paper on zinc dial shows age wear with yellowing and some age stain. There is some wear and loss to the numbers but they are still readable. Original gothic hands are in place. Marked at the center rim edge with "Manufactured by Waterbury Clock Co. U.S.A. Inside we have an 8 day time and strike movement clearly marked with the Waterbury name below the hands arbor. The time spring has sprung as you can see in Photo 7. The hour gong strike does not answer it's call, however the half hour bell strike is in working order. With a bit of rehabilitation, this would be a wonderful clock to add to your collection or your Victorian era decor. As with all of our estate timepieces and clocks, we highly recommend a professional cleaning with final adjustments after shipment to you, for proper working accuracy. Measures in at 14" wide and 10 & 1/2" tall. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment.
