
On offer is this vintage clock from Seth Thomas , made in late 1800's .
Rescued from a clock repair store that went out of business in California .
An " Admantine " clock with painted black wood case and an interesting hand painted marble swirl to top of clock and accents to front . Some chips and scuffs to wood case .
Lion head with ring accents either side . 2 dimensional columns either side of dial .
Decorative feet to front and etched decoration to base front, once gold paint filled .
Glazed front door opens for winding . Matt gold colored decorative dial . Arabic numerals , black hands .Some slight wear to some of the numbers
Back door with Seth Thomas logo lifts up to access original movement .
No pendulum , key or suspension spring . Clock weighs nearly 8 pounds unwrapped .11" tall, 15" wide
Movement marked with Seth Thomas logo and " 3 5/8"
Paper label under door at back . Patented Sept 7th 1880 .
