Description:

This is a beautiful clock and it is a good sized clock for a carriage clock measuring 7 1/2" to the top of the handle, case is 6" tall x 4 3/8" wide x 4" deep.. It has a solid gilt bronze/ brass case with beautiful Corinthian columns on the four corners. The face is porcelain enamel painted in black with fancy numerals. The clock is in great running order and has been keeping time beautifully for the past couple days...This is an hour repeater clock. (when you press the little button it will ring the correct amount of hours for the time). This clock shines a respective amount of times on the hour and chimes once every half hour, it definitely has the sound of a much bigger clock...The clock has a nice strong tick tock to it, it sound great a it moves along. It is encased in chamfered glass, overall its a very fine timepiece. The works are signed S F in the upper left and right and is numbered 67 on the base of the clock.

 Size:

7 1/2" to the top of the handle, case is 6" tall x 4 3/8" wide x 4" deep.

Face is 2 1/4" diameter

 Condition:

There is a faint hairline in the face through the number 11 and to the right, (see photo), there is some chipping to the bevel edge of the glass on the piece on the left side of the clock when looking at it head on which is not detracting and hardly seen. The finish is still nice, under high magnification you can see the patination and micro pitting of the finish, see the photo where I pointed it out. Overall this is a fine clock, in great running  and looking condition, the repeater also works fine. I do not have a key. They are easily bough right off Ebay...photos show all!

This is an estate fresh clock and I am sure it would benefit from a professional cleaning.
